ares-music-03ares-music-02ares-music-01From the list above, you see that you can access a weekly top chart, live radio stations, watch music videos, stream music channels, listen to mp3s on demand, to even artist interviews and more. The menu list is pretty self-explainable.

There is no reason why the Ares Music add-on wouldn’t be added to your list of Kodi add-ons.

We’ll show you how to install the Ares Music Below with the Ares Project repository

Install the Ares Music onto Kodi Krypton 17 and Above

First, we want to enable unknown sources within Kodi. If this is already enabled, skip to the next step. You want to install the Ares repository, then install the Ares Wizard program from the repository.

Enabling Unknown Sources within Kodi
(skip if already enabled)

  • Open Kodi
  • Select Settings
  • Select System Settings
  • Select Add-ons
  • Turn on Unknown sources
  • A warning will now appear asking if you agree that you are responsible for data loss, damage to device etc. As long as you are a sensible user then you are fine. Click Yes

Install AresProject Repository

  • From your Kodi Home Screen
  • Select Settings [Cog Icon, Upper left corner] Settings
  • Select File Manager
  • Select Add source
  • Select None, Enter: http://repo.ares-project.com/magic click Ok
  • Highlight the box underneath Enter a name for this media Source, type Ares, then select OK
  • Go back to your Kodi Home Screen
  • Select Add-ons
  • Select the Add-on Browser Icon [Upper left corner, unpackaged box icon]
  • Select Install from Zip File
  • Select Ares
  • Select repository.aresproject.X.X.X.zip
  • Wait for Enabled Notification

Install The Ares Music Addon

  • Go back to your Kodi Home Screen
  • Select Add-ons
  • Select the Add-on Browser Icon [Upper left corner, unpackaged box icon]

  • Select Install from repository
  • Select The Ares Project Repository
  • Select Music Add-ons
  • Select Ares Music
  • Click Install
  • Wait for Enabled Notification
