There are many methods to side-loading applications onto your Amazon Fire TV stick.

Using the FireDL application is just another way of doing so and the process is much easier this way, because you only need to enter a short numerical code instead of a long web link.

So this pretty much makes it one the quickest ways to download and install popular applications such as Kodi, Terrarium, Showbox, Mobdro and many others.

You can even download Kodi repositories and have them installed locally on your device through install from zip function. It provides an alternative way than entering a link and other additional steps.

Final Thoughts On FireDL

Overall a very useful and convenient application to quickly access and install a bunch of third party application. However, the only grip I have about it FireDL is the amount of ads that are displayed when using the program. Either than that, the FireDL does a great job of implementing shortcuts with shortcodes versus having to type out a fully fledged out link.

You also have access to a large list of shortcodes as well!
